Burn Building I
WCFTC's first structural burn building, built around 1987, was the training center's first structure. It had a garage, a chimney, a wooden roof that could be cut to practice ventilation, and a temperature sensing system. The burn building was replaced in 1999 by a new, more up to date structure. The current building has a sprinkler room, a chimney, a wooden roof for practicing ventilation, a simulated basement, a simulated confined space and firefighter rescue area, and a temperature sensing system. The building's walls are non-retaining so they can be reconfigured with out tearing down the entire building.
